How to measure

  • Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under the arms, with the tape level across your back.
  • Waist: measure around your natural waistline, where you would normally wear your trousers.
  • Hips: stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat.

Keep the tape snug, not tight. And if your measurements point to two different sizes, go by your usual size and how you like a piece to fit.

The fiber is a fraction of the width of a human hair, so it bends against the skin instead of prickling. It feels like fine cotton, and you can wear it next to the skin all day.

Warm when it is cold, cool when it is warm

The sheep live outdoors through hot days and cold nights, and their fleece evolved to cope with both. It keeps you warm when it is cold and lets heat out when it is warm.

Fresh for days

Wool pulls sweat away from the skin as vapor and holds up to a third of its weight before it feels damp. Odor-causing bacteria never get a foothold, so you can wear it for days between washes.

Fine gauge, close drape

We knit it at a fine gauge with a smooth, flat face, so it drapes close and looks as good under a jacket as it does on its own.

solid pick

picked up the black in a medium and it's been my go-to layer this fall. looks really clean over a white tee with chinos, also throws on fine with dark jeans for a casual dinner. fit is true to size for me, not tight not baggy. zip pull is a little small but doesn't bother me much. feels warm without being bulky. for $150 i'm happy with how it looks and feels.

Washes well

I've got a couple other merino peices and this one washes just as well, no shrinking after a cold cycle. At 6'0 180lbs the fit is good, really happy with it.
