How to measure

  • Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under the arms, with the tape level across your back.
  • Waist: measure around your natural waistline, where you would normally wear your trousers.
  • Hips: stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat.

Keep the tape snug, not tight. And if your measurements point to two different sizes, go by your usual size and how you like a piece to fit.

Merino is not ordinary wool. Australia grows the finest merino in the world, and it is the only merino we use.

Soft against the skin

The fiber is a fraction of the width of a human hair, so it bends against the skin instead of prickling. It feels like fine cotton, and you can wear it next to the skin all day.

Warm when it is cold, cool when it is warm

The sheep live outdoors through hot days and cold nights, and their fleece evolved to cope with both. It keeps you warm when it is cold and lets heat out when it is warm.

Fresh for days

Wool pulls sweat away from the skin as vapor and holds up to a third of its weight before it feels damp. Odor-causing bacteria never get a foothold, so you can wear it for days between washes.

Fine gauge, close drape

We knit it at a fine gauge with a smooth, flat face, so it drapes close and looks as good under a jacket as it does on its own.

Got a second color

Already had the brown one for the office and liked it so much I got black as well. Now I switch between the two depending on my mood. Office is always cold so this helps alot.

No itch at all

Bought the black one for my husband and he was worried merino would be itchy like some others he has tried. He wears it straight over a t shirt with no issues at all, says it feels soft against his neck.

Ordering a third one

I purchased this vest in dark brown and have been very pleased with how it wears. The collar stays up and keeps the wind off my neck on the walk to the station. Warm without feeling heavy on the shoulders. I have already ordered a third one, this time in black, as I expect to wear it a great deal. I held back the fifth star because the hem gathers in more than I expected.
