How to measure

  • Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under the arms, with the tape level across your back.
  • Waist: measure around your natural waistline, where you would normally wear your trousers.
  • Hips: stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat.

Keep the tape snug, not tight. And if your measurements point to two different sizes, go by your usual size and how you like a piece to fit.

Merino is not ordinary wool. Australia grows the finest merino in the world, and it is the only merino we use.

Soft against the skin

The fiber is a fraction of the width of a human hair, so it bends against the skin instead of prickling. It feels like fine cotton, and you can wear it next to the skin all day.

Warm when it is cold, cool when it is warm

The sheep live outdoors through hot days and cold nights, and their fleece evolved to cope with both. It keeps you warm when it is cold and lets heat out when it is warm.

Fresh for days

Wool pulls sweat away from the skin as vapor and holds up to a third of its weight before it feels damp. Odor-causing bacteria never get a foothold, so you can wear it for days between washes.

Fine gauge, close drape

We knit it at a fine gauge with a smooth, flat face, so it drapes close and looks as good under a jacket as it does on its own.

Brought it on a trip and it packed down small, held up fine for hikes and dinners both.

Good for the suitcase

I travel most weeks and already had two merino sweaters before this one. The knit on this feels thicker and holds its shape better in the suitcase. Only downside is the XL runs a little long in the body, but it packs well.

good fit, solid quality

i have several merino pieces in my wardrobe and this one fits more generously through the chest and shoulders than the others, which i find quite comfortable for layering. the quality feels as good as the rest of what i own, perhaps a touch sturdier.

No itch even bare skin

I'm 6'0 185lbs and usually a size L in most brands, took the L here and the fit is right, loose through the body like expected. No itch at all wearing it straight over bare skin on a cool morning. That surprised me since some wool sweaters I own need a shirt underneath first. The knit feels dense and holds up well after a full day of wear. Washed it once on a gentle cycle and it came out fine, no issues so far.
