How to measure

  • Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, just under the arms, with the tape level across your back.
  • Waist: measure around your natural waistline, where you would normally wear your trousers.
  • Hips: stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips and seat.

Keep the tape snug, not tight. And if your measurements point to two different sizes, go by your usual size and how you like a piece to fit.

Sustainable Mongolian Cashmere

Cashmere is the fine underdown a goat grows for winter and sheds in spring. Each goat gives only a few hundred grams a year, which is why real cashmere has always been rare.

Finer from Mongolian winters

Our cashmere comes from goats on the Mongolian steppe, where winters are long and hard. The colder the winter, the finer and longer the down, and long, fine fibers give the knit its soft feel.

Warmth without weight

Cashmere is warmer than sheep's wool at a fraction of the weight. It holds a layer of still air close to the body, so a light sweater does the work of a heavy one.

Fine gauge, close drape

We knit it at a fine gauge with a smooth face and a close drape, and we state the composition on every piece.

Warm but not heavy

Warm enough for outside. Not heavy at all. I wear it around the house in the mornings and it keeps the chill off without weighing me down like my old wool sweater did. Good for layering under a coat too. Taupe color is nice, not too light not too dark. Size L fits as expected, nothing tight. Material feels decent, not scratchy. No complaints from me. Would be fine for most of the fall and into winter.

Great for travel

i've worn this on more flights than i can count, rolls up small in my bag and never comes out looking wrinkled. the blue color still looks sharp after all that. it's warm enough for the plane but doesn't feel heavy or bulky when i'm walking through the airport. packed it for a week long trip recently and wore it almost every other day without any issues, still looks the same as when i got it.
